Hello all,
Year 6 have had another fantastic day at Bowles, and have shown excellent perseverance and teamwork.
Mr H’s group tackled the low ropes, with many fears of heights being conquered. This was followed by a fun filled kayaking session and finally our second skiing block. I think some of the group have been fitting in secret skiing sessions during their free time, as their improvement from the first to the second session has been astronomical.
Mr K and Mrs C’s group built some fantastic rafts, practised their aim in archery, and went on an adventure to Harrisons. Many a child returned with a face full of mud – and Mr K even managed to eat some (he’s a growing boy, after all).
We’re off for an early night, ready for an action packed day tomorrow.
